| Soundwave said: Sony isn't the only that decides how long it lasts. Retailers aren't going to keep gifting Sony valuable store shelf space forever. Have you seen some Vita sections at retail? It's a disaster zone. Probably by the end of 2016 most/many retailers will start phasing out the Vita section entirely in North America anyway. Like for example I can't even find the stand Vita charger in many stores anymore. I lost mine and it was a pain in the ass tracking down a new one. |
3 Stores in town here stock its games, but yeah all price them far higher than the games are on psn so there is little to no point buying them at retail, I don't fancy giving Gamestop 20+ euros for LBP when it's on the store for 7, I mean it's nice that they give it shelf space but why bother when they're not competing with games available right on the systems own shop.
It's not just Vita games they do that for to be honest tho, gamestop here sells Smash 3ds for 54.99 I got it day one from the eshop for 10euros less, was the first retail game I got from the E-shop but there is no way I'm paying 10euros extra for gamestop to stay open fleecing customers like that.
