Exactly. Right there that's 4 different IPs they could be making, new IPs or dug-up old ones.


It would be cool if the Mario Kart team made a Mario Kart (obviously lol) then instead of going on to make a sequel right away, revived F-Zero or Wave Race or made a brand new racing IP that plays completely different to Mario Kart, perhaps Nintendo's own take on Need for Speed or something.

Instead of getting 2 NSMB & 2 Mario 3D Land/World, we get one really bad ass 2D Mario that feels fresh and new again, a sequel to 3D World and Mario Galaxy 3.
