They have been able to keep their output rather consistant each generation, but now were getting to the point where were seeing that decrease, Zelda U is taking way longer than the other Zelda games, Retro came out with 2 games last gen, but the game they made this gen, DKTF took 5 years (Not saying they might not squeeze in another game but you can see that increase in development time).  This gen they've somewhat been able release as much big games as one would expect from a Nintendo generation, but its not gonna last forever.

But the output hasn't decreased, 2013, 2014 and 2015 are all in that range.

Tropical Freeze did not take 5 years

DKC Retuns-November 2013, Tropical Freeze-February 2014, that's 3 years and 3 months, that's the same time it took between Metroid Prime 3 & DKC Returns.

Zelda U is not taking longer than previous Zeldas, the time between Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword was 5 years, the time between Skyward Sword and Zelda U is 5 years (assuming holiday 2016 release).

Literally everything u have said about Nintendo's output decreasing has been proven false.
