It depends on how they change their online setup between the WiiU and the NX. I doubt there will be that much of a difference. Since they will be setting up their new online service with the NX in mind they will probally patch the code for the Wii U to work with the new systems they put into place and the Wii U doesn't have as many specialized services that the Wii had (News channel, etc) I really do not see them ending the WiiU network support anytime soon, even after the release of the NX, it will more then likely die a "natural" death of user loss.
