Added a 500gb HDD to my Wii last gen, was the best thing I ever did for the console.
upped the Vita and 3ds to 16gb each and have a psp-go that I bought up to 24gb in total for one of the best little emulation box's tucked behind my TV.
PS3/X360 last gen was happy out with 250gb in both all gen.
also like people said, change the thread title to be Storage, not memory.
