Ya it wouldn't necessarily be a 1:1 ratio but still what's better, 2 seperate platforms that get 12 Nintendo-published titles/year or a single unified platform that gets 20 Nintendo titles/year?

It's not like it's just a random blind prediction tho, many statements from Iwata & Miyamoto suggest something similar to this is their plan.
