I was trying to log on and play against Xeos tonight, but could never get past the connection screen. Apparently I was showing up online (Xeos could see me) but on my Wii it simply hung on the connection screen for 5+minutes at a time and eventually I'd have to power off or it'd eventually give a 31020 error.

Tried various things for an hour. Wii connects fine to internet otherwise. No indication of what a 31020 error is on Nintendo's site either.

Nope. I'd suggest first testing your internet connection trying one of the internet channels to make sure the Wii is connected to the internet...

 Did that.  No connectivity trouble it's purely a Brawl issue.  Hope I don't have to return it.
