I'm not saying it has the better library, but currently it has one third of the installbase and has still some life in it - but the high ranked games are a lot more than one third (obviously, 90+ ranks are actually the same).

 

Because installbase doesn't translate directly into the amount of support a platform is getting. You could say the same about the Wii U vs the Wii. Even though the Wii U has one tenth of the installbase, I'm sure it has more than one tenth of the amount of 90+ titles the Wii has.

But the 3DS has the SAME number on 90+ titles and there are still great games to come. That is amazing!

The only future game I can see getting over 90 is Fire Emblem: If. Most consoles have the same number of 90+ titles because they are equally rare regardless of whether or not you are selling to 100 million people or 30 million people.
