100% agree, Retro need to have more free reign to do more things. They dont have to do a Metroid but can do an entirely new IP.
It is something Nintendo need to do: embrace western style games. Which would cause greater interest of the Wii U in the western market.
I wish Nintendo would acquire more Western devs to do this, but sadly people dont like new IPs as much anymore and the risk is usually greater than the reward in this gaming economy.
