That's just me, mind you... I didn't add it up but that's a lot of potential money from just one customer that they won't be getting. They are somehow simultaneously a financially responsible company and amongst the most incompetent in terms of supply that I've ever encountered. It's never a good sign when you're the favorite company of Scalpers and resellers across the globe. It's certainly sufficiently embittered me that I won't be buying any of the above list until the prices come down, and even then the money will be going to scalpers/resellers rather than Nintendo. Their loss :p
*edit* just had a thought... Collecting for the Wii U/3ds down the line might be like collecting for the NeoGeo, I.e. pricey as hell lol |
That is very true, it's kind of weird because where I live there really isn't much of a supply issues. I can't find some of the really rare amiibo's as I am collecting them in the packages and I started a bit late. I should have grabbed Fox when I had the chance rather than debating if I want to collect them -_- Though finding the games and consoles is not much of an issues here minus the Major's Mask 3DS and Ocarina of Time 3D as well as Dead or Alive Dimensions took a bit of looking around. I have about a million people in my city but the supply flow seems to be decent enough. Some competition but at least we get a flow with EB games, Wal-mart, Best Buy, and Toys R' Us. I do hate how EB games puts stickers on their Amiibo boxes which is crap!
Actually I can still find Wind Waker Wii U's everywhere still. I would have imagined those to be a bit more rare. I really hope Nintendo get's their shit together and antes up their supply and demand. It seems that a lot of places really get slammed and feel the pain more than others. It's really not right, especially form a company as big and dominate as Nintendo.
