Ninty will always be relevant if they choose to stay in business.
As far as the next gen, I believe Nintendo will regain universal respect from the entire gaming world. Whether it sells like crazy is a different case, but with the unified structure that implies cross-buy for NX games, it will receive a ton of critical acclaim.
