They could release a GT7 Prologue next Xmas AT LATEST, then, not too many years later, possibly for BF or Xmas 2016, the full GT7, then, later in PS4 life, GT8.
After all, PS1 and 2 both had two major GT releases, odd-numbered versions have always been the best sellers, but also even ones are good sellers too usually, Sony botched GT6 last gen because all the launches were made too late and PS3 sales numbers up until now have been considerably lower than PS1 and 2, surely not helping GT.
So the real mistake would be to release GT7 too late, as it would sell well anyway, but it would heavily damage GT8 sales, it will be better to sacrifice GT7 Prologue sales, if that game will even exist, to have stronger sales for both GT7 and GT8.
