Atleast Sony does something new every once in a while. Should we mention the 40 qazillion mario spinoffs?

Nintnedo games are still pretty much exactly the same as they were in the N64 days. Splatoon is seriously there first original game in ages. Nintendo makes great games but sooner or later they have got to do something different.

New IPs:

N64: Smash Bros., Banjo Kazooie, Perfect Dark, 1080 Snowboarding, Cruis'n USA, Custom Robo, Sin & Punishment, etc.

GCN: Pikmin, Animal Crossing (worldwide), Geist, Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem, Battalion Wars, Chibi-robo!, Baten Kaitos, Cubivore, Doshin the Giant, Odama, Luigi's Mansion, etc.

GB/GBA: Pokemon, Golden Sun, Advance Wars, WarioWare Inc., Fire Emblem (worldwide), Tales of Phantasia, etc.

Wii: The Wii series, Endless Ocean, Xenoblade Chronicles, The Last Story, Pandora's Tower, Excite Truck, FlingSmash, etc.

DS: Nintendogs, Trauma Center, Brain Age, Big Brain Academy, Professor Layton, Flash Focus, Rhythm Heaven, Personal Trainer, Style Savy, Art Academy, Fossil Fighters, The Legendary Starfy, Picross, Children of Mana, Master of Illusion, etc.

Wii U: Wonderful 101, Captain Toad, Devil's Third, Splatoon, Sing Party, etc. (so far)

3DS: Pushmo, Tomodachi Life, Steel Diver, Bravely Default, Fantasy Life, Spirit Camera, Rusty's Real Deal Baseball, etc. (so far)

Splatoon is hardly their "first original game in ages." At least do some research before making a comment like this.

There were more exclusive new IPs on the PS3 than the Wii U, 3DS, and Wii put together XD. Pretty funny you pad your list with games like "Brain Age and Art Academy" XD
