Unless they pull a Wii, no, at least in home consoles. They seem to be too much stubborn to focus on a real strategy that allows 3rd parties to gravitate towards them.
Games are too expensive nowadays and marketing budgets aree huge. Nintendo has to count with only their own resources for both. MS and Sony basically can count with their resources and the budgets of all 3rd party companies. Just remeber GTA V and its massive advertising. And it all ended up with "Available on PS3 and Xbox 360". Free marketing and you will still get royalties.
People like 3rd party games and most of the public aren't multi-console owners. Chosing Nintendo means not getting GTA, Fifa, CoD, etc. That's not a sacrifice that anyone has to make with Sony/MS. Mouth to mouth helps too. If you have a X1, you can hear your friend that has a PS4 talk about how he liked Shadow of Mordor and you can just go and buy it too. Have a Wii U? Sorry, no game for you. People need to understand that it doesn't matter how much effort Nintendo puts in their software output, they can't beat the combined effort of Sony or MS + all game companies in the world. Wii U suffers with game droughts because that's the fastest output Nintendo can provide.
Nintendo is around for 30 year and they won't go anywhere (at least for now). But their relevance shrinked steadly since the N64.
People saying that they are focused on power usage are being beyound ridiculous. Ps4 and X1 uses around 150W, hardly a worrying number.

3DS has almost 3 years ahead of the PS4 and Wii U has 1. When this gen it's over, we will have PS4 > 3DS + Wii U. Don't try to make something that's bad look good.
