I never even really noticed there were badges (whatever they are), and now that I know I feel quite naked... I must have some!
...I was happy before in ignorance, and now, with nothing tangible having changed, am less happy until I get my hands on some pixels. I'm sure a sociologist would have much to tell me about human nature and my gut reaction to this! :D
