I tried to get the Majora's mask new 3ds only 15 minutes after it was announced but it proved impossible... I've felt so bitter towards Nintendo and their supply problems lately (just tried to get Kid Icarus and found out it's only available at more than the original asking price due to supply) that I can't bring myself to settling for the normal new 3ds just yet heh

Damn am I sick of their nonsense... Otherwise I really wanted this game as I never played the original.

I don't understand why Nintendo is having a supply issue these days? It's almost like the company is nowhere near the behemoth it used to be. Supply was never an issue before this generation. The Wii's supply issue was based on its popularity. This is just down right BS and it's not like Nintendo is bleeding money. We all know about the supposable stash they have. Sony and Microsoft are having no problems with their supply and demand and Sony is hurting bad financially. So what gives, Nintendo?

It is beyond perplexing... They often seem completely out of touch. Just I personally would otherwise have gotten the majoras mask 3ds, the special edition game, kid Icarus, the GameCube controller adapters, a Kirby amiibo (can't find one for under $20, and that's low by amiibo standards), last three trips to GameStop there was no Wonderful 101, and now I can't get the Xenoblade chronicles. It's reached the point where I often feel i can't give them my money even when I want to.

That's just me, mind you... I didn't add it up but that's a lot of potential money from just one customer that they won't be getting. They are somehow simultaneously a financially responsible company and amongst the most incompetent in terms of supply that I've ever encountered.

It's never a good sign when you're the favorite company of Scalpers and resellers across the globe. It's certainly sufficiently embittered me that I won't be buying any of the above list until the prices come down, and even then the money will be going to scalpers/resellers rather than Nintendo. Their loss :p

*edit* just had a thought... Collecting for the Wii U/3ds down the line might be like collecting for the NeoGeo, I.e. pricey as hell lol
