The opinion of this forum doesn't necessarily represent the actual score. Plus metacritic wise and unique charm wise the abovementioned games outclasses donkey Kong in every aspect. After playing ori and the blind forest I can safely say with proper funding small studios with talent can outclass big budget games.

Lol, want me to quote some of these reviews DKC: TF got? Please stop using metacritic as a source of 100% accuracy. One review was complaining he died 20 times in a level of world 1. And the GS review...So awful. And metacritic gives more weight to GS than other review sites... Clearly the people playing think it's better than the critics (userscore of 8.9). Tearaway also has a userscore of 8.9, Puppeteer 8.4 and Ori 8.7. So don't even dare use the argument that only Wii U userscores aren't trolled on metacritic. ;)

Those games won't sell anywhere near DKC: TF on a failing conso:le. Guess DKC has more charm than Puppeteer, Ori and Tearaway afterall. ;)

Not that you can compare these games anyway. Never heard about Puppeteer, but Ori is a Metroidvania game and Tearaway has this Paper Mario art style which affects the gameplay.
