Mortal Kombat is a horrible example and is meeting with huge backlash because of the DLC.  

★ Well your right, but other fighting games are similar in pricing to SSB. And SSB wasnt holding back anyone, they were being made after the game was released.

How are the clones not taking up slots when Sakurai said himself that it would only have around 50 characters.  

★Because they arent, Sakurai never stated about 50 characters at all. If Lucina/Dr. Mario/Dark Pit were palette swaps like Alph is to Olimar, we have 46 characters instead of 49. People need to understand this...

And PacMan isn't unique at all.

Lol it's not that serious.  End of the day I still enjoy Sm4sh, just wished it offered more content compared to the jump from melee to brawl.   It felt like it needs a giant update with more stages, characters, modes, and trophies.   :)
