2. The Ranch Scene (The Last of Us):

Another game with many great scenes, including many that are more iconic, but the voice acting and music in the ranch house scene made me tear up like none other.

3. Fighting Gaius (Shadow of the Colossus):

You could single out any of the boss fights within SOTC for being epic yet heartbreaking. The amazing score pumps you up, and then tears you down once you have completed slaying the majestic beast. My favorite fight was definitely against the earth knight. I remember running around in circles for 10 minutes having no idea what to do, when miraculously, he struck the right place and the path was finally clear. Bravo, Team Ico.

4. Riding into Mexico (Red Dead Redemption):

*Took out the pictures to not make this thread ridiculously long every page*

Oh my God, Ranch scene is probably one of the best acted scene I've ever seen in any media hands down. Ellie is just such a likable character with so much depth to her without having an absurd amount of backstory or exposition being neccesary to throw at you. Last of Us is just phenomenal all around honestly. Deserves all its praise.

Shadow of the Colossus too, but I agree Gaius was just so over the top baffling to fight against. Although I think the first Colossus will still have the strongest impact, considering I played the game without knowing anything. I haven't finished Red Dead Redemption, but I'm looking forward to getting there.
