Should Mother 3 had been a Nintendo DS game? And a short Mother 3 retrospective.

I've never played Mother 3, but it sounds to me like Itoi may have gotten a little too ambitious...
Everyone I've ever spoken to who has played it either thinks it's the greatest game they've ever played or it fails to do its predecessors justice...
The soundtrack certainly doesn't do EarthBound any kind of justice...
