Yes, the quotation means, you cannot gain ad revenue on a Nintendo product unless Nintendo gets a cut (like they need it). The Youtubers don't make as much as most think. They are really doing this because they love it.

Okay I take massive issue with this in particular and think it's bs, if you truly believe they do it because they love it then why don't they continue to do it without trying to claim revenue?, most can and I've seen it happen, those that can't put themselves in that position, not Nintendo or anyone else, Joe told us eons ago that he quit his job to jump on the YT bandwagon to make quick and easy money and while it paid off it's put him in that type of position where if he stops getting paid on YT then he's ultimately screwed and even worse in the average society workforce he's screwed there since he's not had a proper working job for years, his only experience is playing games and editing some footage, that doesn't automatically mean he can go straight to hollywood and direct the next big blockbuster movie.

If Joe really wanted to do it for just gaming then he can simply put back up the video and not make a claim for revenue on it if he cares so much about gaming, maybe if he had an actual job like the rest of us working folk he wouldn't force himself to become morbidly offended when a company decides not to play your ball game.

If youtubers don't make as much money as we think then maybe they should look into getting a full or part time job, one that pays more than youtube and can provide you with something to easily fall back on in case it all backfires for them on YT or they leave it.

Simply put if you are truly doing it for the games and not the money then simply go with the program, the flow and don't claim revenue, gaming is supposed to be a past time, a hobby, not something to quit your working career and make a quick buck off to complain about years later when your popularity dries up and your experience shot, not every youtuber will be here in 50 years let alone having good pension schemes compared to folk who work hard for a living with proper careers.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
