The PS4 does not currently, and it doesn't seem like it will be even close to the PS2 in that area by the end of this generation. I don't expect the PS4 to last anywhere nearly as long as the PS2 in order to match it in sales either. Primarily because it doesn't have the same multitude of exclusives that kept people to replenish their dying PS2's with new SKU's and it doesn't target the casual audience that the PS2 had targeted. Still the PS4 should be much more successful than the PS3, with 60-65% of market-share and with sales somewhere around 100k-110k. That isn't close to the PS2's 155mil with a market-share of about 78%, but still moderately better than the PS3.
