Anyway's a Pro Controller or two is a must. The battery life is huge and very good controller in general. If your looking to buy DLC's and at least some digital games then the Black Deluxe 32GB is your choice. Data space goes down very quickly. You should also consider amiibo's to collect or for the stuff they do in games. Link & Mario are used in most amiibo compatible games so they are a good start if your not sure.
As for games, I'm just going to list a few must haves:

-Mario Kart 8
-SMG x FE (of course!)
-Bayonetta 2 + 1
-Super Smash Bros U
-Pikmin 3
-AC Black Flag
-Rayman Legends
