if you have something around r9 290x or 780ti, theres no real point in upgrading until stacked gddr, 4k isnt a worthwhile jump yet and games arent warranting the extra power yet.
dont point to sloppy performance caused by shitty optimization as proof of cards hitting their limits, either.
Also let's not forget the effects of DX12 on current cards, too.
