Could we possibly see Nintendo incorporate more frequent hardware refreshes with NX?

Ya I think 3DS to New 3DS style upgrades are very possible every 2-3 years. From what I understand New 3DS basically went from a dual-core CPU to quad-core CPU and doubled the RAM. Something that can offer up slightly improved performance, maybe a little higher resolution, and some other tweaks/features. Maybe once we get to the 3rd or 4th revision, the original model won't be supported anymore but that would be 6+ years after launch so it still got a full cycle.

I do believe we could see the console do something like this since I think Nintendo fully plans on adopting a unified ecosystem where both devices play all the same games.
