They have said that "classic" mode is quite challenging even for veterans. So is not going to be dark souls but is not going to be Kirby Epic Yarn (I love the gentle difficulty of that game, the challenging was making 100% of every stage, but i don´t want it for a Yoshi game). The other mode will be more like Kirby yarn, you even have wings on that mode, perfect for kids.
