Not to sound condescending, but maybe this isn't your genre? :P Bayonetta is a spectacle fighter, 100% through and through, which is a sort of subset of the character action game. If you don't enjoy them thoroughly, you will not enjoy Bayonetta 2 at all. That's just the reality of it. Nearly every single spectacle fighter fan I have seen review or discuss the game has had positive things to say ranging from good to amazing. Sometimes, you have to take a step back and just ask if a genre or series isn't for you, especially before going so far as to call the games garbage and the devs talentless, which is essentially what you did. |
No, you're right. This was the first Hack & Slash game I ever bought. Played some GoW at a friend and liked that better, but still nothing amazing. I watched full let's plays of the GoW franchise though. It's something I prefer to watch instead of play. I would never watch a let's play of Bayonetta though. The whole setting repulses me.
I don't think highly of Platinum Games though (that Legend of Korra game is awful as well). And I think this whole genre is overrated and gets high scores way too easily compared to for example a good 2D platformer which gets slammed because it's not Metroid or 3D.
