I get even less enjoyment out of remembering combo buttons. Everything is about remembering which buttons to press then and that distracts you from every other part of the game. Those epic battles? Barely noticed them because I was busy pressing those buttons. They all felt the same to me. I completely understand why their games don't sell. They should try a different genre. |
Not to sound condescending, but maybe this isn't your genre? :P
Bayonetta is a spectacle fighter, 100% through and through, which is a sort of subset of the character action game. If you don't enjoy them thoroughly, you will not enjoy Bayonetta 2 at all. That's just the reality of it. Nearly every single spectacle fighter fan I have seen review or discuss the game has had positive things to say ranging from good to amazing. Sometimes, you have to take a step back and just ask if a genre or series isn't for you, especially before going so far as to call the games garbage and the devs talentless, which is essentially what you did.
