Remember: Persona started as a spin-off. SMT has some of the best spinoffs of any series. 

Yeah, well.. the series has made it this far and thus is successful enough to warrant more sequels. SMTxFE looks like a straight up fan service game.

Not a fan of crossovers myself, to be perfectly honest, but I can see why people are excited for it.
