The ps3 wasn´t hacked before because it wasn´t a prioroty but now it is since it started selling and is the only one of the consoles not being hacked.
There has been an exploit that they use to hack it and as far as I know there pretty far ahead and will announce sometime this year and there is a way to play PS3 games that you download but that is kept to a few choosen.
It will be hacked and probably in the same way the old xbox was so you can get full access to the hard drives and watch what ever media you want just like the old xbox.
Just informing you so you know about theese things.
