I get even less enjoyment out of remembering combo buttons. Everything is about remembering which buttons to press then and that distracts you from every other part of the game. Those epic battles? Barely noticed them because I was busy pressing those buttons. They all felt the same to me. I completely understand why their games don't sell. They should try a different genre. |
Let´s agree to disagree here. I´m playing bayo 2 for the third time, because for me it´s pure orgasm. And the combos are NOT hard to remember because most of them are all based on the same:
X + X + A
X + X + X + A
X+ A + X
etc...
And then there are the most "complex ones" that are no complex at all (hold down and press A at the same time... press R + X at the same time and then press A, and things like that, nothing really complex). And you get different invocations and attacks depending on your weapons equiped. The game is complex and simple at the same time, and you can make it more complex or play it simple whenever you want (but you had to be with your senses awake to have a good timing) that has a lot of merit.
I´m happy with developers wanting to do a hardcore niche good game instead of a bland multimillion-seller. Thanks God for that developers, because they are the only ones that keep me in gamig.
