You can't beat the game while just doing button mashing, at least not after the middle of the game, not in harder difficulties. Unless, of course, you get joy from getting rock trophies, then I'm not going to argue. 

How is it a flaw, then? The game doesn't reward you in the slightest for that. 

How is a Platinum trophy a reward? It's a meaningless digital price. That's fun for you? A game should be fun because of how it plays, not because of some sort of achievement system.

Anyway, I don't care about Star Fox, so I don't care if Platinum Games develops this. As long as it isn't Retro...
