yeah not good news. was hoping this wouldnt be so limited, and it would have the destiny treatment. i hope they keep restocking and it keeps on selling for months until release like the Destiny bundle did.

I doubt they will make as many as the Destiny bundle, after all the Destiny console is just a plain white console, nothing particularly special. But I do think they will make a decent number of these. It is also available globally, and the demand in other markets will be substantial, so they need to make hundreds of thousands of these of thousands of these. Heck maybe the boost PS4 gets on the week of 23 June will be 300 or 400K, and most of that will be the special edition bundle.

300k maybe. 400k is too much. its still in the summer and sales of the PS4 would be around the 150k range or so then. i doubt batman has the selling power to move that many units, even if they build up pre-orders for that long.

Last June the PS4 had the Watchdogs promotions so looking at last June might be a decent barometer. I forget what it got for some reason 250k is in my mind. I think Batman has the potential to move more consoles, especially is they make lets say 50k of those Limited edition bundles. I think your 300k is reasonable and I agree I doupt it goes higher than that.
