Alright. People still seem to have a hard time having realistic expectations for Nintendo Directs while still being excited for them despite the fact that Nintendo has been making them for some three and a half years now. So here is what I expect, so you too can have an idea of what to expect:

Wii U:

• Smash Bros DLC details & date (this month, possibly this week)
• Mario Kart 8 DLC details & date (May)
• new Splatoon info, mainly details on local multiplayer and amiibo support (also the focus of the Treehouse afterwards), and a date (late May)
• possibly Devil's Third (others have pointed out that the Direct is age-restricted like all of the ones that featured Bayonetta 2)
• Yoshi's Woolly World details & date (I believe the leak suggesting a late June release)

3DS:

• new Xenoblade 3D trailer
• Puzzle & Dragons Z / Mario Edition
• new Fire Emblem If trailer/details (possibly Japan only)
• Great Ace Attorney trailer (probably Japan only)
• Box Boy! trailer & date
• trailer / announcement for an as-yet-unrevealed game

General:

• Yacht Club Games present Shovel Knight's upcoming DLC, with a date and details about a Nintendo platform exclusive boss (probably West only)
• other indie games, probably just as part of a sizzle reel, maybe with special focus on one or two (probably West only)
• details on Club Nintendo Gold & Platinum rewards
• "We will launch a new online network this fall to replace Club Nintendo, please look forward to more details at E3."

Notes: Nintendo has confirmed that neither NX nor their upcoming mobile titles will be discussed in this Direct. I don't think Xenoblade X will be featured, because Japan has been getting lengthy videos about it every few weeks and is due for the next one soon. NOA/NOE will probably wait until E3 to show the localization and give a date. Not everything I listed will make it, as that would be a very long Direct, but I'm confident that most of it will be there. I've got 15 things there, pick 10-11 of them, that's what we're getting.
