With the decently configured Pro version Macbook Pro Retina and Yoga 3 Pro (and the Thinkpad Yoga)) still seem like a better product and value to me. The pen isn't really usable for drawing at only 50 levels of pressure.
The non-Pro seems like a poor all-around performer, neither here nor there.
