Which Should I Buy?: The Vita Or The 3DS

I have played hours on remote play and had zero input lag.  I do play the Vita within 2-3 meters of the PS4.

The Vita OLED screen is the best screen I have seen on a handheld, but honestly that difference is not major to me.

It is pretty simple as both are quality hand helds with great libraries, what is your personal perference?  To me this is first generation of hand helds to have two compelling systems so cannot go wrong either way.
