Of all the nonsensical comments I've seen from gamers regarding how Nintendo should run their businnes, moneyhatting games would likely be one of the worse, if not THE worst one.
In regards to 'leaving Wii U to die', it was already dead, or rather comatose a long time ago. I'm not sure why a Zelda delay would suddenly make people scream"ZOMG DOOMED" when there are a bunch of other games coming out this year along with unannounced projects that they said.
I'm still not even sure why people are surprised that Zelda got delayed, as if the news is somehow a grand statement on the Wii u all of a sudden. I guess you can eblieve that Nintendo did in fact see how various gameplay changes could be made and delayed it to pursue that(and if it's one company that has the balls to go chasing after gameplay ideas its likely Nintendo) or be a cynic and think they couldn't have possibly brought it out in time and it just got delayed, like every other major game this gen.
But nope, let that vitriol and hate burn.
I'm not sure what they'll have for their holidays though, they'll need something just as big. Conidering they wont even show Zelda at E3 either, I do wonder if they do have something big indeed planned. Something that's a big seller for the holidays. If it is, I expect something Animal Crossing or Pokemon related, as there is no big holiday seller for Wii U either so they need to secure one really big or a few big releases.
lineup so far
Xenoblade - Summer likely
Splatoon - Summer likely
Fatal Frame - Fall likely
Devil's Third - Fall or Winter likely or delay
Mario Maker - Fall or Winter, but I'd go with Winter but not exactly holidays
Yoshi - no idea, haven't kept up with it
Starfox _ I smell delay but StarFox games are pretty short and aren't exactly an epic endeavour and this one will most likely be episodic- so fall or winter with no multiplayer lol
Projects Cars - LMAO
there's Project Giant Robo and Project Guard but I have no idea how those will take shape. Probably be rolledinto Starfox somehow, or repurposed as some minigame or slapped with Mario or some other franchise character name on them.
That's about all the 'big' Wii U games for the rest of the year iirc.
