I think it's time to face it guys: Nintendo has left their main console to die.

Even with the billions they made from the Wii/DS era, and after they saw that they couldn't develop HD games fast enough, they didn't do what was necessary to ensure that the Wii U had a steady flow of content. They should have done as Sony did with the PS3 and paid out the ass to save their reputation as a hardware manufacturer.

They should have paid for content. Plain and simple. GTA, Far Cry, Bioshock, all those big western games. But Iwata seems to be too much of a tightass to spend money on anything that Nintendo doesn't at least partially own. Does that make good business sense? Well Iwata is the businessman and I guess he thinks so, but as a customer I'm not confident enough in their next system to buy it. Sadly after the atrocious Wii and the abandonment of the potentially wonderful Wii U, I don't ever see myself buying another piece of Nintendo hardware.

The Zelda delay is the writing on the wall people. The Wii U is now officially doomed. I hope like hell that XCX and Splatoon are all they're cracked up to be, because they're the last major games we're going to see until the next system comes out.

I rag on Sony a lot, but what they did with the PS3 was glorious and I respect them for that, I wish Iwata had the cojones to do the same.

Peace

Nintendo cant do the same, they lack the money and media power of sony to turn things around like sony has. Just imgane them paying every third party devoloper to port heir games on the wiiu, it would have bankrupted them. GTA is a huge game saleswise but so is call of duty which was ported to the wiiu. And has call of duty increased the sales of the console when it came out? it didnt
