Will NX be backwards compatible?

Iwata made it sound like:

1) theyre dropping the gamepad for a new gimmick (to keep things fresh).

2) theyre not expanding on hardware, its going to be massively differnt design ( = no backwards compatibilty).

 

Im guessing....... VR glasses? and.... ARM+AMD GPU IP apu (secret sauce: hybrid memory cube system for it)?

 

hopefully thye go back to standart controllers.

Ugh anything but VR glasses. VR died a long time ago and needs to stay dead. VR has no place in gaming, shy of giving people tumors.
