A major Zelda game being delayed is normal since virtually all major Zelda games have been delayed... It would be almost impossible for their biggest Zelda game to date as well as their first take in HD to not have it delayed...

The NX has a high chance of being a handheld and I highly doubt a company like Nintendo who always says things like "different experiences work on different systems" will make a game like this for their handheld. And high profile games on the wiiU have sold very well and Zelda will do the same. Its not about being selfish, its about looking at Nintendo's past as well as looking at signs of what could be happening

And I am not angry about that nor was I angry back then because the GC had Wind Waker... What does that wiiU have if you exclude spin-offs, ports and remakes for Zelda? Nothing

Why does the Wii U have to "have" anything. If you still get the game on Wii U does it make it sweeter to play knowing that keeping it on the Wii U cripples the ability of the game to sell?

I don't know what NX is, when it's coming ... none of us do, only Nintendo does, but the arguement that they should bypass releasing it on NX even if the system can run the game and is available in 2016 (I don't care what the form factor is either ... Wii was supposed to be about unique experiences too, yet they launched it successfully with a repackaged GameCube game) is just ridiculously petty.

If more people get to enjoy the game ... then that is a *positive* thing, not a negative, this mind set is completely silly, it's like a little kid that won't let anyone else on the playground play with his ball because it's "his".

If it was going to launch in 2015, great, Wii U all the way. But if 2016 makes NX an option, Nintendo should 100% move on that. They would be stupid not to actually. Why leave 2-4 million in potential extra sales on the table? Who does that benefit? Not the consumer and not Nintendo.

If the game is on the NX... There is no reason to play the wiiU version since the NX will probably be the best version. And not to mention that I will lose faith on Nintendo's ability to deliver me games on the platform I purchased so instead of buying their consoles at launch in the future, I will be buying it only when the games that I want comes out

It isn't petty... It's logical and reasonable... When the NX launches, it will have games for it anyway that will make it sell where as what will the wiiU have? Nothing... Why hamper sales of software on the wiiU when you can have software sales on both the wiiU and NX? It really shouldnt even be that hard to see

It is not about whether or not more people get to enjoy the game, it is about having confidence on Nintendo to deliver the games that is expected of them. A dedicated Zelda game is expected of Nintendo for every platform they release, whether it be a success or a failure and they have delivered that so far and I doubt they will stop now. If they release it on NX and wiiU, then I will lose my confidence on Nintendo because their games will then be highly dependent on the success or failure of their platform so instead of me buying their console at launch, I will no longer do so

And no... They should not go for it because the NX will have both software and hardware sales regardless... This way, they can have the NX sales + wiiU sales as well instead of completely butchering the sales of the wiiU and their future console market
