Not just sales; it's also about the console getting one of its most important games sooner rather than later or not at all. I'm still very much hyped for Xenoblade, Yoshi, and Splatoon, but I need more than just a few key releases per year.

Mario Maker, Xenoblade, Splatoon, Yoshi, Mario Party, Devil's Third, Starfox = Only a few key releases.

Mario Maker, Xenoblade, Splatoon, Yoshi, Mario Party, Devil's Third, Starfox + Zelda = Good amount of key releases per year, Wii U has games coming, blah blah blah.

I bought my Wii U because of Monster Hunter, and I'm not disappointed at my purchase AT ALL. I've gotten a chance to play some other great games as well, and a way to LEGALLY play Golden Sun GBA, Fire Emblem GBA, and F-Zero GBA. Backwards compatibility, amazing internet browser, off-tv gameplay... Bitch I'm happy.
