I'll get this rolling. Interesting topic, btw. :)

Dad is Greek, Mom is Korean. Both cultures are very family-oriented so they are very loving to us kids. They're not very close to each other, though and I suspect that, if not for the children, they would have divorced a long time ago. They are both extremely religious and can be a bit overbearing. Dad is sensitive, compassionate and extremely kind. Mom is none of those. It's a weird dynamic, but they're great overall as parents. I moved out many years ago after I graduated college, but we still see each other often.

I had some emotional and verbal abuse from my parents just like probably everyone does growing up, but all in all, I had a regular, run-of-the-mill childhood with them. No complaints.



It'll be awhile before I figure out how to do one of these. :P
