5/10; there are some solid titles on offer and I've bought a few great games on my PC, but the 8th generation seems to insist on carrying on the philosophies of the 7th gen down to the dot; production values is still about 90% of the focus of most mainstream releases.
The main reasons I'm not giving it a 4 is that the gen is still young and might redeem itself (which I doubt) and I just bought one of my favorite games in several years this week.
