I agree. IMO, the problem right now with Nintendo is the uncertainty of what's going on with them which in turn create a lot of speculation and since we are human, we normally let the negative thought outpace the positive thought. First their announcement of making games for the mobile market which wasn't widely accepted by the fans. Maybe they are using part of their resources to help in the mobile development department. Now not only they delayed Zelda U, but they delayed it without any specific release date and no E3 showings. This is not good because it raised the speculation again. Was it delayed because Wii U couldn't handle Zelda U like ps3 couldn't handle the last guardian nor FF15, remember Zelda U is an open world. Maybe it was delayed to have a cross gen released with the new console. These are just 2 speculations without thinking hard.
IMO and this is just my thought exclusively is that Nintendo gave up on this gen already. Microsoft are in a better position with the xbox one and they have done more desperation measure than Nintendo have done. I believe Nintendo is just creating games to please the existing userbase while thinking how could they attract new customers with their new project. They know the existing userbase will jump next gen. Since they already know Wii U doesn't have that ability of attracting new customers, they don't have that sense of urgency with their games anymore. Too many announcement without not knowing what is happening behind those announcement should be frustrating.
