I think they just said that to try and excuse not showing Zelda U because it isn't even close to ready yet. I'm very sure they're still showing games for 2016 and beyond. They always break their "focusing on such and such period" commitments.
Unless people actually believe that Fire Emblem If is coming out this Spring. Or XCX.
