here in the UK, the price points are OK. Wii U can be had with either Mario 3D world bundle or MK8 bundle for £220, which is pretty good. Considering the SRP is £249 here. While a Xbox one stand alone console without Kinect is around £280 ( £299 with AC4 ) though on ebay you can find sellers selling at £250 FOR THE CONSOLE IT SELF , but i would worry about guarantees on those systems. But PS4 is still around £330 for standard unit no games.. It's £350 with something like GTA ..
Wii U is a bargain for the money (i paid at launch for mine £300) plus the Wii U has a great library of exclusive titles. It seems to me our USA brethren are being a bit stingy asking for a $200 Wii U is ludicrous ,at your current price of $299 your inline with what we pay here in the UK..
