They would get eaten alive for releasing such a console. 3D World, Bayo 2 ... nah. Should've been a 1TFLOP hardware system at minimum. Game Pad should've been an optional accessorie like the Wii Fit balance board. No one gives a crap about remote play, not even Japan is buying the thing for that feature. They would've been better off just taking a off the shelf cheapo GPU like a 6670, adding some eDRAM to it. Would've had far better performance for about the same price (would've had to sacrifice on size/electrical consumption but who cares). |
I agree with everything you say except Ninty getting a pass. On the contrary they are not which is why they are getting the sales they are getting, console wise. Ninty fans are giving them a pass but there is always going to be a group that is not going to care and put blinders on.
