Anyway, as far as the OP goes, It's an interesting perspective, but i think the scopes a bit too wide for what Nintendo has in mind for mobile currently, I see the arrangement with DeNA a way of dipping in their toes without fully comitting to it, to test the waters and see how their fans, and potential new customers react, but more importantly, how the shareholders respond as it's been a request from major shareholders of Nintendo for them to open up to the Mobile market for some time now.

Until the ball gets rolling and we see the initial feedback from it, I don't think it would be wise to make any solid estimations on how far reaching, or limited the initiative will be.

Man this site really sucks on mobile...

I think you both are right; I think Nintendo is fully committed to this DEAL with DeNA, since both habe bought pretty big chunls pf each others companies. However, that doesnt mean Nintendo will start pumping out mobile games at a fast paste rate. I think theyll dip their toes first, like Tachikoma said, but theyll do so with a solid effort, or maybe two. Theyll take a watch-and-see approach at first and if their mobile adventure is successful theyll commit 100%.

But I also think theyre 100% dedicated to make this replacement to Club Nintendo a big thing from the get go. This unified account system is the big thing, the major part, of this deal. THATS what Nintendo first and foremost wanna make successful (ly)

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
