When I said "on it's last legs," I meant 1-1.5 years lol. I think we'll definitely see the successor next year.  I'm sure we'll get a few good swan songs, but I think most of their teams are working now on the unified platform games. That's why the 3DS this year is lacking so much new first party content. Mostly everything is a port.

Lol. Then I completely agree. Fire Emblem is also a good case in point, because it uses the same graphics as the previous one. It's cheaper to make, and doesn't divert the main team from their next big project.
