Spyro and Crash were never owned by Sony. They were originally owned by Vivendi Universal, who co published the games with Sony as a part of an exclusivity deal for PS1. The company was eventually purchased by Activision. The characters went with them, hence why they became multiplat from the 6th onward. It's Sony's fault those 2 haven't been around. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Sony has made the attempt to buy the characters, but Activision, being the garbage company they are, simply won't let them.

As for Jak and Sly? Never say never. Sly 4 came out a couple years ago, but was a commercial and critical failure. Blame gamers and reviewers for that absence. There is the movie coming next year that could potentially reboot the series. ND is too busy doing their own thing to be bothered with another Jak. Maybe another dev can step up to the plate, so never say never.

We all have our reasons for liking certain consoles. Honestly, the one thing that has kept from caring about my Wii-U is it's lack of a trophy system. That, and Smash Bros was a pretty big letdown for me...
